Our General Meetings are held 4 times a year and are open to both members and the general public - all welcome!  We hold our meetings jointly with the Biological Society of South Australia except for our AGM.

The general format involves an update on current issues that we are working on, and any general business of the organisation, followed by a talk from a guest speaker who is invited to discuss an environmental topic of current interest.

Meetings are usually held at The University of Adelaide, Benham Lecture Theatre, on the first Thursday of scheduled months.

The General Meeting Schedule for 2019 is:

Monday 18th March 2019 - Welcome BBQ followed by a presentation by Dan Duval from South Australian Seed Conservation Centre titled 'Ex-situ Conservation of Threatened Plants in SA.'

Wednesday 29th May 2019 - Conservation Biology Grant 2018 recipients' presentations and announcement of 2019 Conservation Biology Grants

Thursday 1st August 2019 - TBA

AGM - Wednesday 18th September 2019 at 5 Milner Street Hindmarsh

Speakers and their topics will be notified prior to each upcoming meeting.
